My name is Olivia and I work for the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO), a nonprofit spay/neuter program for feral (frightened), stray (lost or abandoned) and pet cats. I’m writing to you because FCCO is offering FREE spay/neuter services for feral and stray cats in February and we think people in your neighborhood may be interested in this special. Founded in 1995, our mission is to reduce the population of feral and stray cats and improve their welfare, and we have helped nearly 90,000 cats.
Throughout February we plan to help 500 feral and stray cats for FREE and want to let our community know about this special. In addition, the last week of February we also have specials for pet cat spay/neuter services. February is a good time to spay/neuter cats before the spring breeding season. It will also improve livability in your neighborhood with fewer kittens born, and less cat fights and other nuisance behaviors often associated with outdoor cats.
I have attached a flyer that you can share with neighbors at your next meeting, by email or in your newsletter. I’ve also added a link to the
flyer here. If you aren’t the right contact for this, please let me know. I would be happy to follow up with them.
I also noted that your neighborhood association has a newsletter, so I have attached and linked a
press release with more information about our February Special. Again, please let me know if I should send this information to anyone else for possible inclusion in your newsletter.
Thank you for your time and assistance spreading the word about this great opportunity. If you have any additional questions please let me know.
